Cafes and Esplanades

Esplanades

Lisboetas, on the days when they are not on the beach or cozy at home, are probably hanging out at many of the various esplanades of the city. The climate and the cosmopolitan spirit lend themselves to a flourishing outdoor café scene that is almost year-round

Cafés

Café culture in Lisbon is constantly evolving. Going strong for over two hundred years, cafés have figured heavily into the social and cultural history of the city. Be sure to try some of the old and some of the new!
