Leave Lisbon by the Vasco da Gama bridge to get to Setúbal city, where we stop at city castle. Next we drive along the mountain of Arrábida Natural Park (500m peak) to admire th views of Atlantic Ocean and the clear beaches.

Stop Portinho da Arrábida beach for a relax break. During the summer there will be time for a swim!! Lunch at the picturesque fishing village of Sesimbra .

Drive along the rolling hills to get to Obidos. This romantic medieval village, full of flowers, is so beautiful – remember to bring plenty of film! After Enjoy the sea breeze as we drive along the Atlantic coast passing gorgeous cliffs and the picturesque villages of Foz do Arelho and São Martinho do Porto.
Relax at lunch in the fishing town Nazare has a great variety of regional restaurants and cafés. Quick stop at the Nazare cliffs with views over the Atlantic Ocean and learn about the miracle that took place here.
Next we visit the stunning 14th century Batalha Monastery – UNESCO world heritage site. Last place to visit is the Sanctuary of Fátima The Sanctuary is one of the most important Christian sites with 5 million visitors every year. The return to Lisbon will be made through the agricultural lands of Ribatejo region.

After crossing the Vasco da Gama bridge, the biggest in Europe, we cross the Alentejo plains heading to the UNESCO World Heritage City of Évora. After circling the medieval walls, we stop the van and go for a nice walking tour, crossing the old city and stopping in the more iconic sights in the city: the Bone Chapel, the São Francisco Church, the Cathedral, the Roman Temple and the University. Free time for lunch at the main central square of the city. In the afternoon we return to Lisbon, with stopovers in the pre-historical site of Almendres, the Medieval Castle of Palmela and the viewpoint of Cristo Rei, right across the Tejo River from Lisbon. Then we enter the city through the 25th of April Bridge.
